Dr Balashanmugam has a total experience of almost three decades have actively seen him participate at national and international conferences and attended workshops as faculty. His research has also been published in medical journals. Dr Balashanmugam is also an active member of societies like Society Of American Gastrointestinal And Endoscopic Surgical Society, USA - SAGE, Asia Pacific Hernia Society, European Association of Transluminal Surgical Society, Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, Association Of Minimal Access Surgeons Of India, and Obesity And Metabolic Surgical Society Of India among others.

Experience

Dr Balashanmugam has been trained in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery from IRCAD in France. He also completed a course on NOTES from the same institute.
