Obesity is a universal problem. If someone is obese it means that person has too much body fat. Bariatric surgery can be done by using an implanted medical device to reduce the stomach size. The surgeons may also remove a part of the stomach, or reroute the small intestines to a small pouch in the stomach. This is called gastric bypass Bariatric surgery.
